Slumpy Snuffalupakins

So the past few days I haven't been me, or Snip. I've been Slumpy.

I'm not IN a slump necessarily, but this longline thing has me ready to poke my eyes out. Or cut off my fingers. (There will NOT be any removal of hair.) Between that and working on the ol' query thanks to Elana Johnson, who critiqued it a few days ago (check out her website, blog and ebook, From the Query to the Call, BTW, all three of which are AWESOME!), my brain is stuck on

FLORA FLORA FLORA DAHLIA FLORA ROWAN FLORA DREAMS FLORA CONFLICTS INTINCING INCIDENTS FLOWERS FLORA AMBROSIA and, well, duh -- FLORA!

Argh.

So I just wanted to say,

Hello
How are you
Hope you're doing well
Hope you're feeling creative and productive and smart and refreshed and appreciated and Nanocomplished
I'm sorry I haven't read any of your blogs but I promise I will be back next week to drive you all crazy with my boring comments

And

I will be back on here soon, too.

Much love,

Slumpy

oHHH slumpy ... I feel your pain. I'm desperately trying to finish revisions as well as make more than a half-hearted attempt at another entire novel in a month.

WE NEED VACATIONS!

Good Heavens! You sound downright froggered. They say it gets better. We'll see. Good luck.

Don't worry about being slumpy. It happens.

Hi Jessica,

This is Locksley. Thanks for following my blog. I guess I'll have to beautify it and use it more. How do get owls to hoot up your borders. I think I'll visit Brorders, and buy blogging for dummies.

I vented my feelings about missing both submissions on tuesday as well as the November secret agent contest on MSFV. Hotmail was universally condemned as the culprit. I do have a gmail account and will transistion all my writing projects to it.

Next, I'm going to figure out how to become a follower here.

Hi again,

I think you'll love what you see if you visit NPR's 5th three minute fiction contest. A white owl will greet you. Let me try to type in the link (correctly): http://www.npr.org/templates/archive/archive.php?thingId=105660765

I know how you feel. I followed you over from MSFV blog and liked your advice on rewriting your logline and 240 words. I think that might have helped me.
