Rock The Drop 2013

Not sure how many of you have already heard of this but as I tweeted the other day, I think it's all kinds of awesome. (In fact, I'm contemplating incorporating this idea into things when IF I SPEAK TRUE is released this summer!)

Rock the Drop 2013

For more info, check out the article on Figment.com (link)

Keep your eyes peeled, local peeps. There's going to be a whole lot of YA scavenging going on around here. (I'll most likely use Instagram as my mode of sharing, as I think more locals will see it that way, so if you're not already following me and want to find a book or two around town next week, find me on Instagram--authorJessicaBrooks--or go here to follow.)

Wahoo! I'm already so excited!

Be blessed,

Jessica

I love Rock the Drop! I skipped it last year, but did it the year before and felt like a mixture of Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. I even told some teens at the park to keep their eyes peeled because I'd left some books in plain sight. They said it sounded like a cool thing. I hope more teens are reading because of this.

Me too, Rebecca! Maybe other people will be participating and I can find a book, too! :)

Katrina, I'm just slightly disappointed that I didn't know about it earlier. (Didn't have time to get books delivered so I have to use ones I haven't loaned out and currently have.) Also, it's so odd because no one really seems to know about these kinds of things outside our "readerly circle" so I've been getting various versions of "meh" when I tell people. (Think it's a reader/writerly thing... we get so crazy-excited about this stuff, as you know!) Hoping whomever *finds* them enjoys them. And passes them around. :)
