Description Rhyme

Like the "i before e, except after c" rhyme to remember when spelling, here's one to remember when writing descriptions:

"When you are describing,
A shape, or sound, or tint;
Don't state the matter plainly,
But put it in a hint;
And learn to look at all things,
With a sort of mental squint."

~Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (Lewis Carroll)

I'd never heard this before. How just-right! Thanks for making it better known (at least to me).
